The safety of our members (and community) is our responsibility and we take it seriously. None of our staff or members have tested positive for Covid at this time. We will continue to keep class sizes to a minimum and offer virtual options, as well as clean and disinfect as much as possible. Thank you for your support and continued patronage!
New Sanitation Procedures and Safety Options: Hand sanitizer (gel and alcohol-based) is now available at both the front and back doors for use upon arrival & exit. Equipment is cleaned and sanitized before and after class, as well as studio doors, mirrors, and floors. Instructor temperatures are taken daily and lifestyles are monitored for potential exposure risk. Members are asked to maintain proper social distance from others and not congregate. Class sizes are temporarily reduced to provide additional space between participants, Instructors, and equipment.
Equipment will not be shared and items that are not easily sanitized (like some yoga props) will be temporarily unavailable for use. Mats are still provided and cleaned before and after each use, but members are welcome to bring their own mats too.
Instructors use face shields to ensure the safety of our members during class and will teach with a face mask additionally if needed or required at any time. Disposable masks are available for members to use before, during and/or after class. Mask hangers are also placed around the room and will be sanitized before and after each class. We support whatever helps to ensure your safety, period. New Smyrna currently has a mask mandate in place. Please have a mask available for entry and exit from the studio - read the entire mandate HERE
For the safety of our town, employees and members we ask that you do not come into the studio if you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, a sore throat, if you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 or if you’ve been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Virtual Options: For those not ready to return to the studio – or who can’t get to Flagler Avenue during the busy summer - we now offer several virtual classes! Livestream classes are noted with the word “VIRTUAL” in all caps and offered through the MindBody system. On our schedule you’ll see several classes that are offered in the studio and virtually (especially in the evenings); for those classes we are offering in the studio you will see a “virtual” version of that class, so be sure to register for the correct class. Our memberships now include both in-studio and virtual options, so you can practice in the studio, at home - or both!
Livestream classes function like Zoom, with the option to be seen and heard (or muted). Links will be emailed/added to the app 30 minutes prior to each class. Livestream works better on some mobile platforms than others. For more information and to set up via PC or Mobile, read more here
We currently offer a free virtual stretch class on Sunday evenings and will continue to add virtual classes throughout the summer, including free, pop-up classes in all formats we offer. You do not need to enter any billing information for free classes but reservations are required for all classes.
There are two ways to register:
1. Visit www.beachsidewellness.com and click on the classes tab, then select weekly schedule. Sign up for the class you want to attend. If you do not have an active membership you will be redirected to the MindBody site. If you already have a MindBody profile, just sign in and purchase the membership of your choice to complete your reservation. If you do not have a profile, follow the prompts to create one and then purchase your membership.
2. Download the MindBody app on your phone. Search for Beachside Wellness, select a class and purchase a membership.
We look forward to seeing you soon! Please reach out if you have any questions. XO

The Save Local NSB Campaign was born from a focus group of NSB small businesses across every business district (Canal Street, Flagler Ave, 3rd Ave, US 1, and SR 44) selected through an application process by Mayor Russ Owen. The campaign is a community encouraged fund-raising initiative for the small businesses of New Smyrna Beach.
Whether in-person or on-line, and from groceries, home repairs, dining, spa treatments & retail therapy to fair trade finds and fitness class, our consumers can integrate NSB into daily life again and help support our local families post-pandemic. Soon the Save Local NSB Map will be available for purchase. The map is a truly one-of-a kind local map and keepsake, illustrated by local illustrator Chelsea Preston of Jelly Press. Look for participating sponsors to sell on location in the near future and they will also be available for purchase at www.savelocalnsb.com.
With a donation of $5 per map, 100% of the profits of the sale will be contributed to the Save Local NSB small business grant (hosted by the SE Volusia Chamber of Commerce) which will be available to NSB small businesses (members and non-members of the Chamber) impacted by loss of revenue due to the pandemic.
We are honored and thrilled to be a part of this effort! Additional information coming soon.
Foundation37.org is another local organization collecting donations specifically to assist with businesses in Volusia county post-pandemic. The SIP Grant will be especially helpful. For more information and to donate, please visit https://foundation37.org/donate-now/
